The good ole days...

 

Like a lot of you out there, my passion for bikes started when I was about 6 years old.  My dad was a biker born and bred so it came as no surprise that I too caught the bug.  The smell of Cazzy R, mixed with patchouli oil, those sweeping bends on sunny roads, the scuffs on the knee sliders, the bruises and the lessons learnt. All of which led to me tinkering with those darn things into the wee hours at night. In my youth it was all about making them faster and pulling wheelies in front of mates, after trips to A&E and the passing of time, it was all about making them stronger and safer and liking the skin I had left.  As time progressed so did the knowledge and soon I realised I had an aptitude for electrics, (another thing the old man passed on to me), so I traded in my welding job and created Motosparkz. 

 

I soon settled in cutting my teeth on a variety of vehicles and machinery from security on Plant machinery through to installing a stereo system in a helicopter.  The work is extremely varied from commercial vehicles like buses, through to trains and boats but has exposed me to really weird electrical issues which all culminated in that wonderful knowledge bank that lives inside my skull.   The older I get, the more I find myself drawn back to my roots, I simply love working on bikes hence the creation of The Rolling Spark. 

 

I focus on providing electrical solutions from simple tiresome niggly faults, through to building and installing complete wiring looms for those in need of my services. With wire clippers in hand, music on in the background and a hot cuppa on the side, my clients trust me with their pride and joy.  They know that if their magic smoke escapes, I am on hand to pop it back in.
